(To Be Read) List

My November TBR

So recently I have gotten back into reading and I read #GirlBoss by Sofia Amoruso, which is her biography. And I'm planning on posting a review of her book after I post my November TBR. Let me know if you want me to post reviews of these books as well.

The first book I'm planning on reading is by James Dashner called "The Eye of Minds".  I'm almost on Chapter 3 and I only bought it on Saturday. It's a very action based novel and there is a sequel called "The Rule of Thoughts". I have been loving it so far, and might do a review of it when I'm done later on.

My last book for the next month is called "The Final Warning" by James Patterson. I have heard of the series before, and when I looked in the book store their were a ton in the series. I'm not sure how many books there are though, so let me know in the comments. But I read the summary and it drew me in. It's about these teens helping environmentalists who are studying global-warming in their world. The book sounded amazing, and I just had to get it as well. This is my November (TBR) list, let me know what your reading in the comments of this post.

How to get a Summer Job?

In this blog post I'm going to be talking about how I got a job at Cedar Point. When I applied for jobs before, I think I applied to late (meaning the wrong time of year/season). Because if your looking for a Winter break job for something Seasonal I feel like you should be applying for jobs in the early Fall.

So what I did is for this new Summer job, I applied early February, and I got an email right away saying they are now interviewing people for jobs in the Summer. I got the email within three days as well. So as long as you apply early enough before the season starts you should be fine. Also make sure you have a good resume typed up you can google "how to make a resume".

I also tried applying for jobs in-person. If it's a smaller coffee shop or something similar then I say apply in-person because they most likely don't have a application online. And if you have an amusement park near you I suggest applying their for a summer job because those seem to be really easy to get the jobs. And finally don't forget to apply to a bunch of different places as well because you never know who will higher you!  Hope you liked this blog post!
