Favorite 1) Clean & Clear Makeup Wipes  

I’ve always loved these makeup wipes for the longest time. They take off makeup so well, and they’re really moist too. So I love these a lot and just got a new package of them again. 

Favorite 2) Milani Eye Brow Tint Pen 

I have tried this once before, and I loved it a lot then. But I’ve tried eyebrow powders, and didn’t like them and I tried pencils and I didn’t like those either. I really love the look of this because it fills in your brows but still looks natural and not over done. 

Favorite 3)  E.L.F Face Primer

This is one of my favorite primers that I’ve ever tried, and It’s only $6.00 at the drugstore. It’s a silicone based primer also. I’ve noticed since I started to use it on school days it really does help my makeup last longer through out the day. 

Favorite 4) Pantene Detangler 

This product has really helped my curly hair not be so knotted when I try to brush it out. And it also makes it feel really soft too. 

                                                               Favorite 5) Loreal Paris Infallible Pro Matte Gloss

These have been my go to lip product this month. Because I know they will last through out the day, and the colors are really great too. I have 2 of them which are

Dance Moms Recap Season 6x26

This episode the girls go to a competition called "Fierce National Dance Competition".  And
the ALDC “Mini Team’s” group dance was called “Wait for me, Mom”. It was a lyrical because when this episode was filmed it was on Mothers day, and Abby wanted to do something special for her mom. And her mom loved watching the girls do lyrical numbers. So she thought it would be a good idea to have the mini’s try a mini lyrical dance. To also see what they how their technique would be in a lyrical routine.

The ALDC “Junior Elite Team’s” group dance was originally called “Sun City, Arizona”. Because they were supposed to do a fun novelty number about elderly people in retirement. Because Abby was saying that town was known for being a retirement town. So she wanted to do something a bit more fun with the older girls. But since Kalani and Brynn were from Arizona the mom’s really didn’t like the idea, since they felt it would be embarrassing to do a dance routine in that style. Which I have to agree it was a little silly, and just felt thrown together last minute. Where as the mini’s routine seemed more heart felt and thought out.

So eventually on the last day of rehearsal Gianna helped the Junior’s make up a routine last minute called “Why Wait ”. Which is funny since the “Mini’s” group is called “Wait for me, Mom”. Anyway, they wore really pretty white dresses as costumes. And they were supposed to go onstage and just do improv. But Gianna was really nice and helped out with some of the choreography in this routine. And I have to say their was a lot of different movements then what they normally do and I loved it! It was so pretty and clean, and also nice to watch them do this style again on stage. 

When the Mini’s went on stage to perform it reminded me so much of the original girls performing. And they were pretty together for a group not being together for that long. 

The music was lovely to listen to also, and so was the Junior’s music for their dance. 

The duet’s this week were Nia and Kendall performing their duet from last week but they changed the title too “Pop Stars” and it was Jazz in the Teen category. Kalani and Brynn’s duet was called “Prettier Than Poison”, they were supposed to be snakes and this dance was again a great dance to watch. And they dance so well together, since I think their styles match well too.  

After Kalani and Brynn’s duet their was an altercation between one of the mini mom’s and Kira. Because the mini mom said, her daughter wished the Junior’s “good luck”. But she was saying that the older girls were rude to her daughter. So Kira got angry and said “I’m not playing these games”, and pushed the other mom’s away. Which I think Kira way over reacted, because if it actually happened, she should’ve apologized and said “I’m sorry”. 

At the end of the episode the mini team made a huge card for her with a picture of Abby and her mother. But I did think it was a sweet card to give to Abby.

Real Housewives of NYC RECAP Post

 The finale episode of Real Housewives of New York City was super intense. The episode started with Bethenny telling Luann about the Tom scandal at the bar, and how Tom was making out with another woman for apparently a whole hour! I felt so bad for Bethenny in this episode because she really looked upset over the fact that she did a good thing telling Luann. I know if I was in Luann’s situation, I would want a friend to tell me if I had a boyfriend and he was cheating on me. Otherwise it would be even worse if she didn’t tell her before she left for New York.   

After she tells Luann about this scandal, she reaches out to Tom in Bethenny’s hotel room. Luann was saying that Tom said that he didn’t “remember” making out with the girl. But we finally get some explanation about what happened. Tom finally says that the girl was from Los Angeles, and that Luann and him had a fight so he went to a hotel bar with the other girl. And he also said “he would never do that again” blah blah blah. Immediately she said “he’s devastated, and he could tell he was sorry”. But how could he not remember making out with some other girl? That seems like a very player guy- lame answer. I would leave a guy like that instantly! And Luann still wants to marry him? Even though Luann makes up with Tom, Luann decides to stay at a hotel before Bethenny’s party. Because she doesn't want to go back to Tom's house. 

In another scene Dorinda tells Ramona, that she was talking to Luann on the phone with Tom. Tom basically said he wanted to talk to Dorinda and the hotel bartenders/ managers, and have Dorinda lie about this whole scandal. And if Dorinda doesn’t do this she won’t be coming to the wedding or be friends with Luann ever again. But why would he bother if Bethenny already has pictures of this, Luann even sent pictures to Tom in Bethenny’s hotel room! So it doesn’t even make sense. Dorinda doesn’t buy this situation at all. And neither do I to be honest. 

In this whole situation, Bethenny was saying that Luann only loves the idea of love. And I really agree with that point. Because she was only really angry how the girl Tom cheated with, was that it was in public. She was angry at him for cheating on her. But she was more mad about how it was in a public place. 

I thought Bethenny’s party was really great to watch in this episode. Even though Luann decided to leave the party. I felt sad for her that she wanted to leave. And I loved how the piñata was filled with jewelry. I thought that was very “Real Housewives”. Overall I think this was a great episode to watch. If you haven’t watched the finale yet, I really think you should watch this episode before the reunion episodes! Hoped you liked my recap of this finale.

July Favorites Summer 2016

1) Wet ’N Wild brushes 

      I love these brushes so much! These are a cruelty free line and the eyeshadow brush is only $0.99 cents, and the powder brush is $2.99

2) Elf Mineral Face Primer $6 dollars

This face primer has been my favorite this month. And I just recently got it again, since I was looking for a great primer that wasn’t to expensive. This one by E.L.F is a silicone base and it comes with a nice pump to control how much your using too. 

3) Sun Ripened Raspberry Fragrance Mist (Semi Annual Sale) Bath & Body Works

   I love this fruity scent so much. It’s a great scent change if your used to coconut scents and want something different. So this will really do the job. And it’s been my go-to scent recently.

4) Neutregena Healthy Skin Liquid Foundation with SPF 20

This foundation is a great foundation for something a little lighter in the summer time but still gives great coverage as well.

This past weekend I saw Finding Dory for the first time. And when I was a kid Finding Nemo was one of my favorite movies. I even remember when Disneyland opened the Finding Nemo Submarine ride and that’s one of my favorite attractions their too.

Anyway, back to the movie review part of this post. I thought it was a really great movie overall. It was about Dory trying to find her parents and her trying to remember how she lost them in the first place. I think it’s a great movie for families to remember what family is about. The plot was super sweet and the characters like Destiny, Bailey and Hank brought humor to the movie so it wasn’t to dark. My favorite characters were Bailey and Destiny believe it or not. I really liked their personalities. And we learn Destiny used to be friends with Dory through the pipes which is how she can speak “whale” because they used to be “pipe pals” as Destiny called it. 

Overall I think this would be a great movie for families to go see, but I would say the first one is slightly better then this sequel. But I still say everyone should go and see it while it’s in theaters .

Nugg Face Mask (Review) 

(Hydrating Mask) 

I bought this Nugg face mask at Target about a week ago. And it was roughly $3.50 for 1 pod, which I thought personally was kind of pricy just for one. But over the week I have tried it twice, and there’s still maybe 2 more uses out of the little mask pod. So as long as you can store it in a zip lock bag or even put washi tape on top, or any type of tape really. It should be good until you use it all completely. 

On the back of the little pod container, it said to leave the face mask on for 5-10 minutes. For my first time, I left it on for about 15 minutes. And it made my skin feel nice and smooth. Not so much hydrated but just felt nice again, since I do have dry skin most of the time. It was really nice. This last time I left the mask on for only 10 minutes, and it did feel a little hydrated (but really the same as before). I noticed though my skin was softer after I washed the mask off. Oh this is a wash off mask and not a peal-off type mask by the way. 

Pro’s: 

-Great for travel

-Not scented 

-Gets multiple uses

-Would be great for a person who has sensitive skin

-Not very moisturizing 

Overall I would give this mask a 3 out of 5 STARS. 

Target Beauty Haul! 6/1/16

This weeks blog post is another haul from Target! Yay!  The first two things in this post, are actually the last things I finally found. Which I’m really excited about trying, and they’re face masks. I have been trying to find these masks at Target for a couple years now but I just have never seen them in store before. Or maybe I just wasn’t looking in the right spots. Who knows, you know? Anyway the face masks are by the brand (Nugg). 

1) In the pink pod it’s a hydrating face mask with (Camellia Seed Oil & Spirulina Extract) it-

“Intensively hydrates & replenishes dry, dehydrated skin”

2) The yellow pod is the soothing one with (Shea Butter & Chamomile Extract) it-

“Helps to calm, balance and hydrate troubled or sensitive skin” 

Next the main item I went into Target for was a foundation, the 

(Neutragena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup)  and at Target it’s $12.19 on their website online. I’ve bought it before though at Walgreens and it’s literally $15 for a drugstore foundation which I think is super pricy.  But even though it is pricy, it’s one of my favorites for Summer time because it also has SPF 20 in the foundation itself. And it just feels really light on your skin, but it still covers really well too. 

Then one of my favorite concealers is the Maybelline Fit Me concealer I got because I was out of my Maybelline Better Skin concealer and I wanted to try a different one. So I got this one to try again, plus it’s a bit cheaper then the (better skin) concealer.

I also got some hand lotion from EOS. And finally another Neutragena product which is their (Fresh Foaming Cleanser). And I just tried this as soon as I got it, and it works really well, and feels nice and refreshing on the skin. It’s also reasonably priced too because it’s only $5! So I think that was a great bargain.    

Drugstore Beauty Collective Haul

So over the course of the past 2 weeks I’ve collected some new things that I bought at the drugstore. Both from Target and Walmart, I got a variety of things that I’m excited about trying!

The first three things are the most recent I got, are from Walmart. 

I got some of my favorite makeup wipes which are these ones from Neutrogena 

Then I finally got my hands on the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara! I’ve been wanting to try this mascara forever! I’m really excited to finally have it now to try out. 

Then I also got from Walmart one of my favorite face powders the Maybelline Fit Me Powder in #130 

I also got 2 Spring nail polishes.

 Dance Moms Recap Season 6 Episode 17

The (Mini Team) is back this week but not all of them, so Abby brought in a new dancer this episode named Elliana and her mom’s name is Yolanda. There are two group dances, the (Elite Team) group dance is called “The Atlantic”. Maddie and Brynn both have solo’s. Maddie’s solo is called “The Entertainer” and it’s a musical theatre number. Brynn’s is called “Broken Dancer”. The (Mini Team’s) dance is called “Just Like Mama Said” .

The main drama this episode was how Jess couldn’t stand the fact that Brynn got a solo. So she yells to Abby how she thinks Brynn can’t act. And I felt so bad for Brynn here because honestly what does Brynn keep doing that Jess doesn’t like? She seems like a very sweet girl who has a lot of talent. JoJo and Brynn both have great talent! I just can’t stand Jess this episode how she’s so harsh on Brynn. 

To get to the competition Abby decided to go “old school” Dance Moms and get all the moms onto a bus! They’re going to Fresno, CA for the Sheer Talent Dance Competition.  The first group dance was the (Mini Team) “Just Like Mama Said” which was Jazz. This dance was so fun to watch! I wish they had more Jazz group dances for the Junior Elite team too. The next dance was “The Atlantic” danced by the Elite team, this dance was really beautiful. I thought it was a lot better then last week’s dance actually. It was lyrical, a style the team is basically known for doing at a lot of competitions . 

 Awards Pre-Teen Solos:

Dance Moms Recap Season 6 Episode 16

This week I decide to make a recap blog about one of my favorite shows “Dance Moms” from Lifetime. Their were 3 soloists this week, which ended up all being in the hip-hop genre. But it wasn’t going to be originally. JoJo got moved up to the top of the pyramid after she said she was on the bottom a lot. And Abby moved her up because she agreed that she had a good week.

JoJo’s solo was called “Million Dollar Baby”. And Brynn’s solo was called “Freak”. Mackenzie was supposed to have an acrobatic routine, but then she simply said she wanted to change the style of the solo because she does it a lot. Which I have to agree, she does the acrobatic genre almost every time. So I can agree with why she wanted to change the style. After Melissa and Abby had a fight after pyramid Abby said she could do it. 

The group dance this week is called “Boulevard of Broken Dreams”.  At the competition awards they placed 1st! After a couple weeks of not placing or not winning they finally won with this group dance! 

I loved all the solos this week, and in a different genre of dance that they’re not used to competing in. I thought they were all great!

Review Of: Real Techniques Expert Face Brush

Price: This brush retails for around $8.98 on Walmart.com. So it’s a very reasonable price for a great makeup brush

My Thoughts: 

I have been using this brush for about a month now. And I really do love it, and I can see now why other people do also. It applies foundation very smoothly, and the bristles on the brush have never shed on me. Even after I washed it a few times recently. Overall I would say if your looking for a great drugstore makeup brush definitely go and get it! It’s really reasonably priced as well.

Top Favorite TV Shows for Winter 2016

1) Pretty Little Liars (Season 6b)-

This season is pretty different from previous seasons. There’s a time jump this season to 5 years forward. And I love the new plot twists as well.

2) 2 Broke Girls- 

It’s a great comedy relief show, about two girls as roommates who work as waitresses. It’s only a 20 minutes, and I wish it would be a little longer. 

3) Dance Moms (Season 6)-

I have been watching this show since the beginning of Season 1. It’s about girls on a competition dance team and their dance teacher Abby Lee Miller. This season Abby has opened a studio in Los Angeles (Abby Lee Dance Company L.A). There’s a lot of drama already in the beginning so if you like drama and reality shows definitely watch it! 

4) The Biggest Loser (Season 17)- 

I haven’t watched in years, and now Bob who was an original trainer is now the host this season. This is a great inspirational show! So if you want another reality show to watch you should watch it too. 

5) Keeping Up With the Kardashians (Season 11)

   I’m sure everyone has heard of the Kardashians, I would really recommend it. And I’ve been loving this season so far of this show.
